LocalFavicon
Build a complete favicon package in your browser — never uploaded
Runs locally · No upload · No account · Complete ICO + PNG + manifest package

PNG · JPG · SVG · WebP · stays on this device
Emoji glyphs differ across platforms. Treat this as a quick start, not pixel-perfect brand art.
Privacy: source files are read only in this tab’s memory. Nothing is uploaded to our servers. Soft limits: ~8 MiB source image; SVG decode is browser-dependent. Prove it in DevTools → Network.
How it works
- Pick From image, From text, or From emoji. Bytes stay in browser memory.
- We resize on a canvas to the sizes sites actually need.
- Pack a real
favicon.ico, PNGs,site.webmanifest, and an HTML snippet into one ZIP (JSZip, same-origin). - Download and drop the files into your static site. Open DevTools → Network: you should see no image upload.
We do not offer remote URL fetch of logos, cloud storage, or accounts. Bring files you own or are licensed to use. Logo copyright remains your responsibility.
Limits (honest)
- Formats in: PNG, JPG, SVG, WebP. Exotic formats may fail with a clear message.
- Emoji: best-effort system glyph — not a licensed emoji font pack.
- SVG-out: not the hero deliverable; ICO + PNG + manifest cover most browsers.
- Memory-bound: very large sources may fail on phones.
- Non-goals v1: account sync, remote logo URL fetch, “every browser SVG quirks solved” claims.
vs favicon.io and upload generators
- Complete ZIP — ICO + common PNG sizes + webmanifest + HTML snippet in one download.
- SVG-in when the browser can decode it — no account wall.
- Network-tab privacy — verify no upload yourself (see FAQ / privacy guide).

FAQ
Are my images or logos uploaded?
No. Generation runs in your browser. Open DevTools → Network while you work: you should see no upload of your image bytes. Files never leave this device.
What is in the ZIP?
favicon.ico, PNG sizes 16, 32, 180, 192, and 512, a site.webmanifest, and a short HTML snippet you can paste into your <head>. That complete package is the product — not a single PNG download.
Which inputs work?
From image: PNG, JPG, SVG, and WebP (SVG best-effort via browser decode). From text: short letters/words on a colored tile. From emoji: best-effort system glyph render — results vary by OS/font.
Do I need an account?
No. No signup, no watermark in the MVP. Differentiate vs upload/account generators: local processing + complete ZIP.
Is SVG output included?
SVG-in (upload/use SVG as source) is supported when the browser can draw it. We do not claim a perfect SVG-out favicon for every browser; the ZIP focuses on ICO + PNG + manifest, which have the widest support.
Is it free?
Yes. No account and no watermark in the MVP.
