Make a favicon from PNG or SVG without upload

Most “favicon from png” tools ask you to upload a logo. If that logo is an unreleased brand mark, client work, or an internal product icon, upload is unnecessary risk.

Steps on LocalFavicon

1. Choose From image and pick a square-ish PNG, JPG, WebP, or SVG.
2. Set the app name and theme color for the webmanifest.
3. Generate the ZIP on this device and extract beside your HTML.

SVG-in notes

Browsers differ on SVG favicon support as a delivered favicon. LocalFavicon’s MVP uses SVG as a source when the browser can draw it to canvas, then emits widely supported ICO/PNG outputs. That is intentional — not a claim that every browser will serve raw SVG as the tab icon.
